Inspiring and Scaling up Circular Economy Initiatives
Building on the momentum from the 2019 launch of the Towards a Circular Taiwan at the Asia-Pacific Circular Economy Roundtable, Circular Taiwan Network is once again collaborating with the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Ministry of Environment, and the Ministry of Agriculture. This new collection of circular economy stories, along with an online database for global audiences, aims to expand current practices and inspire enterprises worldwide to initiate circular economy practices.
Five Topics, 97 Cases
Featuring 97 innovative stories from Taiwan, this collection is organized into five topics: Agriculture & Food; Textiles & Fashion; Buildings, Furniture & Appliances; Vehicles, Packaging & Containers; and Electronics & Chemicals. Over 240 collaborators have contributed to bringing these circular stories to life.
A Systemic Approach
To enrich this collection, we engaged 20 experts from academia, research institutions, industry, and media to offer professional insights. Through a "product life cycle" lens, each topic and story was analyzed to reveal new opportunities for cross-industry circular collaboration that extend beyond its own value chain.
Co-Creating a Resilient Taiwan
Resilience—the ability to adapt and thrive in the face of challenges—has never been more essential. In this era of rapid change, we call on more practitioners to join us in advancing a circular economy that not only strengthens Taiwan’s resilience but also positions Taiwan as a global leader in facilitating the world’s transition to a circular future.
