We are a collaborative network that harnesses the efforts of individuals working on circular economy to collectively push Taiwan towards an industrial transformation by 2040.

Overview

“An individual’s dream is just a dream. A group of people having the same dream is the start of a new reality.”

When circular economy is applied to everything, it brings about new markets, new business opportunities, and new partnerships. However, transitioning from a linear economy to a circular economy will take time, and many industries will face obstacles along the way. Thus, the Co-Partners Community was created to help companies push through the barriers of transitioning to a circular economy, by providing them with insights and experiences from other circular economy pioneers.

Our core members are corporate partners that practice circular economy. We connect strategic partners that are necessary to create a close-loop, such as enterprises, government, academia, research institutes, civil organizations, and media. Together, we strive towards a circular Taiwan by 2040, and work to accelerate the transformation to a closed-loop industrial economy. As a resource collector and discussion initiator, we also work with co-partners to find the potential opportunities and actual paths to circular economy. By learning through the experiences of each other, our goal is to get rid of the bottlenecks and accelerate Taiwan’s transition to a circular economy.

Become a corporate partner

Our corporate partners are businesses that work in all stages of the product life cycle. They actively incorporate circular economy concepts in their products and services, and they join with experience and enthusiasm. They also commit to jointly promote a closed-loop industry and offer their support to the platform.

By becoming a corporate partner, you pledge to:

  • Establish a circular economy goal for your company
  • Share with co-partners your experience and join discussions. Promote progress and work to remove bottlenecks
  • Produce at least a one-page circular economy report or short film once a year
  • Organize an event or visit, provide exchanges between co-partners and knowledge sharing
  • Donate NT$10,000 to the platform on a yearly basis

With the three main principles of circular economy in mind; Product as a Service, High value Utilization, and Systems Collaboration, we grouped our projects into two major areas in order to create a path and method forward for circular economy. They are: the “circularization of industry” and “the industrialization of circular products.”

Industry Circularization

Interlinked product business partners should establish a closed-loop system as its long-term goal. During the transition period, it should discuss methods to achieve circular economy, set intermittent targets with the end goal in mind, and gradually remove bottlenecks along the way.
