After the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Scotland, Belgium will be hosting the 2019 Hotspot on 18-20 Nov. The program will offer a unique opportunity to discover companies that drive circular economy in Belgium.
On Monday 18 November 2019, the Hotspot will start at 5 pm at the Brussels City Hall. Some high-level speakers as well as specialist Toon Wassenberg, a well-known sustainability consultant and change maker, will have the floor.
On Tuesday 19 November 2019, the participants will follow a tour organised by our partner cities. They will visit enterprises active in innovative fields such as:
- Brussels: Circular cities
- Antwerp: Sustainable Chemistry
- Resource recovery & Industrial Symbiosis in the Port
- Resource recovery & Urban development
- Mons: Recycling and Resource efficiency
On Wednesday 20 November 2019, a round table discussion with very high-level European and Belgian politicians will close this three-day event at Brussels Expo.
