CTN Chairperson Charles Huang gave a speech, calling for Circular Collaboration for Climate Change (CC4CC). Taiwan and many other manufacturing countries play important roles in the global supply chain. However, these manufacturing and export-oriented countries should not shoulder the carbon tax alone. All stakeholders, including consumption nations, brand owners, etc. should all take up responsibilities of emissions. Hence, institutionalizing CC4CC dialogues and aligning trade talks with climate talks would be conducive to realizing net zero goals.
